City Council Activities:

Elected in November 2007 to serve a 4-year term - from January 2008 thru December 2011.  Member of the Newcastle Finance Committee, the Suburban Cities Association (SCA) Finance Committee  and an alternate for the SCA Public Issues Committee (PIC).

Work History:

Currently - Jensen Companies, Inc. which operates Jensen Roofing and Jensen Websites.  As a Web Designer, I create  and maintain websites for small businesses and non-profit organizations, focusing  on easy navigation and search engine optimization.  For Jensen Roofing, I provide marketing and administrative support and national training for contractors as a certified trainer with the Tile Roofing Institute. 

13 years at Lawson Software as a software consultant and pre-sales manager responsible for a multi-million dollar budget.  I developed strategy and planning for a national sales team averaging over 50 million in sales.

5 years as an Industrial Engineer with Rockwell and McDonnell Douglas.

Community Involvement:

Harborview Medical Center Board of Trustees:  Appointed by the King County Executive in 2008.

Newcastle Chamber of Commerce:  Member, President (2006) & Board member (2004-2007)

King County Library System: Newport Way Library Board 2004-2006; Community representative on the architect selection team for Newcastle Library in 2006

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) 2003-present - a volunteer advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in King County.

Team Seattle - a Children's Hospital Guild - Guild Member 2000-present.
